During 2022, I obtained a certificate from the (HPCA) Hospice Palliative Care Association in ‘AnIntroduction to Palliative Care’. In the same year I qualified as an End of Life Companion (Death)Doula from both Sacred Dying as well as The Wellness Specialist. The latter led to registration withthe IAOTH (International Association of Therapists). I am also registered with the HPCSA(Psychologist) as well as the AHPCSA (Therapeutic Massage Therapist).My passion lies with the elderly and I have been involved as a volunteer at one of the Frail CareCentres in Heidelberg for the past year. It involves some life review work, sitting vigil (both at FrailCare as well as in ICU), finalising advance directives, grief support and providing emotional andspiritual support in general, to the residents as well as the family. As an EOLCD, I am focusing onsitting vigil, compiling of and education about advance directives and grief support
